I’ve ordered from countless catalogs and tried every type of shop (from those specific to swimwear to big department stores), and while I’ve found swimsuits that worked and were fine for my water activities, I have never loved any of them. When I received my suggested capsules from Joanna, it was like walking into a store designed just for me. Joanna is a highly skilled stylist and a joy to work with. What is the difference between a Style Chat and a Style Consult?
A Style Chat is a one-on-one problem-solving chat. This option is best if you have a question you’d like to discuss. After our chat, I’ll create a private Pinterest Board with recommendations based on our discussion. You’ll walk away with new information and suggestions to solve your style question!
A Style Consult is a one-on-one styling session based on your answers to my questionnaire. I’ll create three capsules (or more) based on your preferences, and we’ll discuss why I chose them for you during our meeting. After our meeting, you’ll get one round of revisions to your Pinterest Board. Sometimes when clients see what they thought they wanted, they realize it’s not quite right. You’ll walk away with ready-made outfits you can shop at your leisure. You’ll have access to your private Pinterest Board for three months.
What is a capsule?
A capsule is a complete swimwear look which includes a swimsuit, cover up, shoes, sunglasses, hat, tote, towel, etc. Already have a pair of sunglasses you love? No problem! You can share which items you’re intersted in when you answer your questionnaire. All capsules are designed for you!

Can I see an example private Pinterest Board?
Absolutely! Here’s a private Pinterest board I created for a client.
It’s organized into sections for each capsule. My goal is to present different looks that meet your criteria. Sometimes I’ll also add a capsule that’s a little different to give you more options and help you refine what you’re looking for.

Is the Pool Pass really unlimited?
Yes!
For certain services we’ll need to meet virtually and scheduling those times is dependent upon our mutual availabilty.
What's your styling philosophy?
I’m styling you. Not me, not your mom, not your sister, and not your significant other. After you share with me what you want, I’ll do my best to create something beautiful for you. I’ll share my opinion on the items I chose based on your style, not on my own. I want to help you create a swim wardrobe you love to wear. <3
Are swimsuits and other items included in the pricing?
No. Swimsuits and other garments and accessories are not included in the pricing of my services.
The pricing of my services is based on my time to meet with you and also prepare your swim capsules and/or your private Pinterest Board.
It’s up to you if and what garments and accessories you purchase based on my recommendations. There’s no pressure. You’ll purchase items directly from the vendor.
Depending on the item, I may make a small commission at no cost to you if you click on a link and/or purchase an item I have featured on my site or in my shop at ShopStyle Collective. For more information about how my affiliate links work, please see my Affiliate Disclosure Statement.
What if I don't like anything in my capsules?
My goal is to help you create a swim wardrobe you love to wear based on your preferences and desires (not mine or anyone else’s).
When you purchase a Style Consult, you automatically receive one round of revisions to your capsules. Sometimes it takes more than one round to refine what you *actually* want. If after that round you’re still not happy, please contact me and I will be happy to work with you!
When you purchase a Pool Pass, you’ll have unlimited revisions. We’ll keep working together until you’re happy!
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel or reschedule your Show Your Shells service at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
If you cancel your paid service prior to the 24 hour cancellation window, a full refund will be processed.
If you cancel your paid service within the 24 hour cancellation window, a partial refund will be issued minus a $20 cancellation fee.
If you are a no-show to a paid service (or are more than 15 minutes late), your appointment will be cancelled and a partial refund will be issued minus a $20 cancellation fee.
What is your refund policy?
If you request a refund of your paid service prior to the 24 hour cancellation window, a full refund will be processed.
If you request a refund of your paid service within the 24 hour cancellation window, a partial refund will be issued minus a $20 cancellation fee.
If you are a no-show to a paid service (or are more than 15 minutes late), your appointment will be cancelled and a partial refund will be issued minus a $20 cancellation fee.
Refunds requested after you have received part or all of your paid service will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
