About CAT

Cat really wants to feel good in a swimsuit this season. She gets easily overwhelmed with shopping for swimwear – there are so many options and she finds she’s not sure what suits will provide support for her full C cup bust. She usually shops at her local discount retailer where the overwhelm strikes and she grabs the first thing which doesn’t end up fitting well. She loves neutrals, especially whites for the summer. She may have a beach trip later this summer, but will spend most of her kini time at her neighborhood pool with girlfriends lounging and doing some light swimming. She prefers two pieces and is ok with a some cheek in the bottoms. Since Cat is finishing up her masters degree, she’s on a budget and wants all items in her capsule to be under $30 each without sacrificing style. Cat wants to feel chic and cool at the pool!

I decided to source all of Cat’s capsule elements from Target, making it easy for her to shop and purchase!

For her bikini, I chose a Underwire Tunneled Tie-Top in off-white that comes in bra sizes to make it easy for Cat to find the right fit. The underwire, wider cup fabric and shoulder straps, adjustable straps, and bra back hook closure all create a very supportive top for Cat’s bust. The matching High-Leg Extra Cheeky Bottoms are mid rise and on trend.

I love the idea of Cat rolling up to her neighborhood pool in a cute linen set! I chose the matching Long Sleeve Relaxed Fit Collared Button Down Shirt and High Rise Linen Pull-On Shorts in Olive Green. She can mix and match each of these pieces with other items already in her wardrobe.

The Wide Brim Straw Hat with Beads in Cream matches her bikini and comes in two sizes, also helping ensure a good fit. I love the tan beads as a neutral accent.

To add a pop of darker neutral in her accessories, I chose the Rectangle Sunglasses in Tan, which almost looks like olive green!

How cute is this Crochet Tote Handbag in Natural? It’s just big enough to hold Cat’s essentials but not too big that it’s cumbersome. It also adds a little texture to her capsule.

The chic Lulu Slide Sandals in Cream are easy to wear and easy on the eyes!
