About DEB

Deb is a new mom. She had her son Noah last August and she’s excited to go on her family’s first beach vacation this spring in Mexico! Deb really wants an all around full coverage one-piece and she’s not into anything floral or tropical. She’s a woman who wears black, so she’ll feel most comfortable in a black suit. That said, she’s open to adding in a little color, but doesn’t want anything too bold and definitely not pink. She wears a size 10 and is loving her body – she created Noah after all! Deb describes her style as preppy city chic and wants to be able to reuse as many items from her capsule for Mexico in her everyday life in the city.

For Deb, I really wanted a black suit with clean lines. I chose the Marisa Belted One Piece Swimsuit from Hermoza. It features full coverage for Deb’s bust and booty. The square neckline, removable belt, and textured fabric are chic. The built in bra provides additional support, as does the high square back. I liked the idea of a flowing dress coverup over a structured, clean-lined suit, adding a little playfulness to Deb’s look. The Susanna Cinched Dress in black from Hermoza is exactly that. It’s an eyelet maxi with high slide slits, an adjustable elastic neckline and adjustable tie-straps. BONUS: Hermoza is woman-owned, ethical, and sustainable!

For accessories, I added a few color pop pieces in peridot green since Deb’s son was born in August (peridot is the August birthstone!). Hoops are back in style (did they ever really go out of style?) and I like pretty green of Stephanie Gottlieb’s Green Tube Electric Hoops. BONUS: Stephanie Gottlieb is woman-owned!

DIFF’s Vanessa sunglasses in Sage Crystal Olive are in the peridot green color family and are oversized with chunky corners, and chic! BONUS: DIFF is ethical and charitable!

The color of these Tory Burch Eleanor Jelly Slides is actually peridot! These are great for the pool and beach in Mexico and fun with jeans and a top out to brunch at home in the city.

Justine Hats Black Straw Clouche is also great for the beach or the city, and its in Deb’s signature color, black. BONUS: Justine Hats is ethical!

Prada’s Raffia Tote Bag in black is an easy chic beach to city classic that can carry her own necessities on the go. I was surprised Deb didn’t already own it!
