About DINA
Dina’s intention for this year is self-love. She’s never really thought that much about the swimsuits she wears, or made an investment in one she loves to wear. As far as colors or styles and silhouettes go, she’s very open to suggestions. Dina’s interested in style, but most importantly, discovering her own style. She doesn’t want to shop based on what other think looks good on her body, but what she feels good wearing. When I met Dina, she was wearing bright colors and simple jewelry.

Some may think the heart patterned Blaire bikini top and Highway bottom by Beach Riot is too on the nose for self-love, but Dina loved it! What better way “to dress herself in love,” she said. This bikini is high-waisted with high-legs, with a self tie-shoulder, underwire cup top. In other words – very stylish! BONUS: Beach Riot is woman-owned!
For a lovely cover-up, I chose a red wrap skirt with ruffles by Kate Spade. This skirt is designed to be a swim coverup, making it easy to take on and off when Dina’s poolside. I love the bright red paired with the pink and red print bikini. It really pops!
I had to pair sweet handmade beaded red heart earrings from St. Armand’s Designs on Etsy with this capsule. Dina likes that she can wear them with this suit or with other outfits to symbolize her intention for this year. BONUS: St. Armand’s Designs is a woman-owned brand!
The other apparel elements of this capsule are black and chic. A simple black paper straw hat from J. Crew looks chic paired with the pink, red, and hearts. Stuart Weitzman black jelly sandals are a chic twist on a childhood favorite. Black Le Specs cat eye sunglasses scream chic! And last but not least, a black crochet tote holds all of Dina’s things.
Because this capsule is so full of love, I added in sweetheart candies and a double heart-shaped pool float!
