About Ella
Ella decided to install a stock tank pool in her backyard. She’s excited to have created her own happy, hopeful retreat in the midst of the pandemic. Now that she has a pool in her backyard, she wants a bikini and a select few accessories that embody this hope and joy. Because she’ll be swimming in her backyard, she’s not interested in shoes or a coverup. Just the suit and sunglasses and maybe a hat. Above all else, she wants the items in her capsule to be FUN. As far as bikini preferences, she considers herself to be very trendy and is not afraid of bold colors or styles. She’s not too concerned with support – it’s her backyard and she’s going to wear whatever feels fun and free to her!

Choosing a rainbow print for Ella was a no-brainer. Rainbows have become a popular symbol of hope in the midst of the pandemic and I love that so much color, inspired by nature, is becoming more mainstream for adults and not just kids. (Why should they have all the color fun?!) Triangl’s Remi Rainbow Bikini inspires joy and fun with its vibrant ruched rainbow fabric. Not to mention the high-waisted and legged bottoms and padded underwire top are perfectly in-style for Ella. How could she not have fun in this bikini?!
I have to admit, I’m VERY jealous of Ella’s new pool and wanted to suggest a few items for Ella that will make her time in the pool that much more fun and happy. Frontgate’s classic float in yellow was an easy addition to Ella’s capsule, as was the colorful and fun sprinkle goggles with “SWEET” on the band by Bling2O. These goggles are technically made for children but I measured them against my own adult-sized goggles and they are the same size. (If you haven’t already read about me, you won’t know that I love to swim and always wear a pair of goggles when swimming underwater!) With both of these items, Ella can colorfully and happily float and swim her days away!
The Always on Vacay Rainbow Round Sunglasses by RAD + REFINED are also too fun to leave out of Ella’s capsule. I love the rainbow and floral accents, which match the bright rainbow bikini. And, the round frame style is retro fun.
I can picture Ella lounging in her new pool wearing the Roxy Still Blooming Sun Visor. It’s functional, stylish, and fun providing a little shade for when the sun is shining so bright.
Lualoha’s pink and white cotton Turkish beach towel is a bright and fun versatile item for Ella’s backyard pool fun. She can use it as a towel to wrap herself in, or tie it as an impromptu skirt or dress.
