About Libby
Libby loves her boozy beach brunches with her gal pals. She and her friends are continuing their monthly tradition throughout the pandemic because they’re outside and can easily social distance. It’s one of the few social engagements Libby’s still able to do and she’s interested in a refresh of her boozy beach brunch wardrobe. She describes her style as a combination of Breakfast at Tiffany’s meets Nantucket. Libby’s got a medium build and isn’t too athletic; her bust is her favorite asset. She’s interested in pieces that are beach appropriate and versatile, but she doesn’t need them to be items that can get wet for a swimming day at the beach. Her boozy beach brunch gal pals (try saying that five times fast!) all support and celebrate each other and she’s excited to wow them with a new look!

I love Libby’s description of her style – “Breakfast at Tiffany’s meets Nantucket”. I mean, why isn’t that how I describe my own style?! Two colors immediately came to mind – classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s black and classic Nantucket blue. Since the style in Breakfast at Tiffany’s is overall formal and chic and Nantucket is that traditional beach cool, I wanted Libby’s capsule to be sophisticated yet preppy. The anchor of this capsule is the Summersalt Jetsetter One-Piece Gingham in Sea Urchin. This suit has it all for Libby: a v-neck with a keyhole and bow to draw attention and show off her bust, Summersalt’s signature fabric that is flattering for all body types, and a black and white gingham with a blue and white gingham bow that reflect the formal sophistication of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the traditional beachy prep of Nantucket.
I like straight wide linen black pants by Missing You Already for Libby because it dresses up the suit. These pants are 100% linen with an elastic waist and a tie making them comfortable as the boozy beach brunch reaches its third round of margaritas. Also, these pants are classic and versatile, allowing Libby to pair them with other blouses, silk tanks, and body suits.

When I saw the Maison Michel black and white gingham straw hat I thought I’d hit the jackpot. Not only is this style chic but it’s preppy with the black and white gingham band. BONUS: The hat is on sale for a significant reduction in price!
How could I not include classic oversized black sunglasses in Libby’s capsule? Attico x Linda Farrow’s Zoe sunglasses are a perfect Breakfast at Tiffany’s look alike for Libby. Because she loves this aesthetic, she’ll be able to wear these sunnies with any outfit.
Because the beach can be breezy and boozy, I included a blue and white gingham wrap by Talbots to cover Libby’s shoulders. This scarf is a cotton-rayon blend, making it soft and breathable. Since Nantucket style is a key element of Libby’s style, I have no doubt she’ll be able to use this scarf as an accessory to other items in her wardrobe.
