About Meg

Meg is excited for paddle board season! She has big plans to spend summer days at the lake just soaking it all in. She’s athletic and wants to feel comfortable and sporty while on the water this season. Meg wants a full coverage swimsuit and prefers darker colors and nothing too tropical. She lives in the Midwest and it’s just not her style, even though she does like flowers. She’s been wearing the same old suit, shoes, towel, etc. and is interested in an all around paddle board wardrobe refresh. Meg has plenty of cooler weather accessories for evenings at the lake, so she’s looking for clothes for when the sun is its strongest.

Meg’s suit is the All Day One Piece in Nautical from Carve Designs. It’s full coverage, sporty with the zip front, and the deep navy blue color (with fun white stripes) she loves. It also has a built in shelf bra with removable cups for extra support. The cap sleeves are both a practical choice, keeping the sun off her shoulders on the lake, and a style choice because it’s cute! The side panels on the suit are also a fun addition. The fabric of this suit is also UPF 50+ and made from recycled materials. BONUS: Carve Designs is woman-owned and sustainable!

Carve Designs also makes the Bali Shorts in Sunset I chose for Meg. I wanted to give Meg an option for more coverage, pockets, and a little saturated color to compliment her navy suit. I felt very inspired by sunrise and sunsets on the lake with this orange! These shorts are UPF 50+, quick drying, and odor resistant making them the perfect paddle board shorts. I kept the accessories navy and neutral for Meg. The Michael Kors Bridger Sunglasses are a classic navy and blue square. Because no one wants to lose their sunglasses to the lake, I also added a Kavu Sunglass Keeper in Fog.

These fun Vans Trek Slipons are waterproof and more substantial than a sandal for while Meg is lakeside.

Since Meg mentioned using an old towel I added the quick drying Luxe Towel in Deep Sea by PackTowel. It’s big enough to soak up that lake water but not too bulky that it’s heavy or hard to pack.

I did add one other color pop for Meg in the Aloha Collection Town Reversible Tote in Dim Sum. I love that this color matches Meg’s shorts and that it has a subtle floral pattern. Meg does love flowers and this pattern is subtle. This tote is reversible, splash proof, and easy to clean.
